Accessibility Awareness Tour Emu Park

Accessibility Capricornia invites the Livingstone community to join the 2025 Accessibility Awareness Tour in Emu Park and experience firsthand the challenges people with disability face every day.

When: Thursday 20 November 2025, 10:15am – 1:30pm

Where: Starting at Emu Park Surf Life Saving Club

Participants will take on short accessibility challenges like navigating shops in a wheelchair, reading a menu using vision-impairment glasses, or trying to hold a conversation with noise-cancelling headphones – all designed to help you understand barriers and see how small changes can make a big difference in creating an accessible, welcoming community for everyone.

Whether you’re curious, passionate about inclusion, or simply want to learn more, all community members are welcome to join.
