Cultivating a Compassionate Heart The Extraordinary Qualities of Bodhictta

We are incredibly fortunate to welcome Prof. Geshe Ngawang Samten to the Ananda Buddhist Centre for a special teaching on The Wonderful Qualities of Bodhicitta, based on the first chapter of The Bodhisattva’s Way of Life by Shantideva.

Bodhicitta — the heartfelt wish to help all beings find freedom from suffering and reach enlightenment — is described by Shantideva as a rare and precious jewel that transforms our ordinary lives into extraordinary ones filled with compassion and wisdom.
