Led by local artist Joel Vanderduys, this course blends technical skill-building with creative exploration, guiding you from “where do I start?” to creating your own finished artwork on canvas.

Over four weeks, you’ll be introduced to the foundations of acrylic painting techniques, materials, mediums and creative approaches in a supportive, inspiring studio environment.

With your new skills in place, you’ll begin your own acrylic painting on canvas, guided step-by-step by Joel.
