Wellness Expo

Women’s Health Information and Referral Service CQ Inc. (WHIRSCQ) will host a Wellness Expo on Tuesday, the 3rd of March 2026, from 10.00 am to 1.00 pm at Rockhampton Leagues Club.
The Wellness Expo is held in conjunction with the Queensland Government’s Queensland Women’s Week. The theme for 2026, ‘Shaping tomorrow together’, recognises that we all have a part to play in advancing women’s economic security. This aligns with the United Nations International Women’s Day theme, “Give to Gain”, which emphasises the power of reciprocity and support.
The Wellness Expo aims to promote the rights, interests, health, and well-being of women and their families in Central Queensland by recognising the importance of women’s health to society and the region’s overall growth. It connects individuals and families to supports and services and creates awareness of issues affecting the community.

– Gentle yoga sessions for all abilities.
– Mindfulness meditation sessions.
– Mindfulness and compassion meditation sessions.
– Paper flower making.
– Kumihimo friendship braid making.
– Mindful colouring.
– A collaborative International Women’s Day activity.
All community members are welcome, and attendance is free.
