SUMMARY:Champion First Responder Day
DESCRIPTION:Join us for a tour of Peter Champion’s private collection of cars\, trucks and tractors in Yeppoon as we support the mental health of first responders to motor vehicle incidents.\n\n– A muster point will form up at the Heritage Village on the Corner of Bruce Highway and Boundary Road in Rockhampton at 3:00pm to drive to Peter’s house with a photo oportunity by the beach on the way.\n– Gates will open at 4pm.- Tickets are $25 each and will include entry of the collection\, a BBQ meal and a cold non alcoholic drink.– You will not be able purchase a ticket at the gate so please purchase your ticket before April 15. There are only 300 General Admission tickets available so get in quick.– Children under 10 years old are free.– Please bring your own chair if you would like a chair.– Scooters\, prams and similar devices will need to be left at the gate or in your vehicle to avoid damage to cars.– There will be local car clubs and RockyNats entrants on display along with automotive memorabilia and HDT racing collections.– Only the first 150 cars nominated will be on display due to the space available.– Your purchase of a ticket indicates your willingness to be photographed or filmed at the event.– All proceeds will go to Drive Wise Foundation to support the mental health of first responders to motor vehicle incidents such as truck drivers\, SES\, Ambulance\, Police and Fire Department.\n\nIf your community group\, car club or mental health support service would like to be involved please email the organiser Lara Wilde at mate@motorv8industries.com\nChampions First Responder is a charitable community event held on private property.\n\nBy entering the event premises\, all attendees\, participants\, drivers\, vehicle owners\, passengers\, and volunteers acknowledge that they do so entirely at their own risk.The event involves inherent risks including\, but not limited to\, vehicle movement\, static vehicle displays\, uneven ground\, weather conditions\, mechanical failure\, and interactions with other attendees.\nTo the fullest extent permitted by law\, the event organisers\, property owners\, sponsors\, volunteers\, and all associated parties disclaim all liability for any injury\, loss\, damage\, illness\, or death suffered by any person or property as a result of attending or participating in the event.Attendees are responsible for ensuring they hold appropriate personal and vehicle insurance.
