DESCRIPTION:We’re super excited to announce that we’ll be hosting the 10th annual Grounded Gathering at High Valley Dawn Permaculture Farm Yeppoon this September which coincides with our own celebration – 10 years of High Valley Dawn.\n\n\n\nWe are so stoked to be collaborating with this amazing group of people who come from all over Australia and the world as we continue to connect up as self-sufficient\, regenerative\, resilient communities.\n\n\n\nThere’s going to be something for everyone!\n\n\n\nWe are also excited to announce that we will be collaborating to bring a Permaculture Design Course (PDC) offering to Central Queensland. This is (as far as we are aware) your first chance to gain this flagship qualification within Central Queensland as we deliver a hybrid offering of online learning\, culminating with a 4 day intensive\, hands-on\, practical training leading up to the gathering.\n\n\n\nWe will also be offering a jarjum’s bush school for the whole week for anyone who is looking for an epic September holidays camp or wants to come and do the course or volunteer in the set up crew.\n\n\n\nIt’s gonna be epic and I feel so blessed to be in a position to host this event and bring together some amazing people for what promises to be one of our best parties yet.\n\n\nEarly bird tickets on sale now (link in comments).\n\n\nSee you there.

DESCRIPTION:Family Drug Support operates to assist families throughout Australia to deal with a person’s alcohol and other drugs issues in a way that strengthens relationships and achieves positive outcomes. \nWe will be hosting a Family Support Meeting at Rockhampton\, Yeppoon and Online each month\, see Flyer for details. \nThese groups are for families and friends impacted by a person’s drugs and alcohol use. No cost\, or registration involved \nFDS believes families are important. They understand their family better than anyone else. If left to work through issues in isolation\, families can become exhausted and give up. However\, when supported they can become a vital force for change. For many\, a Support Group is the first time they have had the opportunity and the forum to tell their story. \nThe Group provides a safe and supportive place for people to talk openly about their journey with their drug dependant member(s). For some group members\, feeling judged\, shame and stigma have prevented them in the past for reaching out for support. \nA Group is even more powerful by having an audience who is interested\, fully engaged\, and on a similar journey.
