The Start
Getting ready to head off on the 5th Annual Walk for Wellbeing

Ross Creek
Time for a water break before heading onto Lammermoor Beach. Thank you to Aussie Gold Natural Springwater for providing water for our walkers. Photos captured by Boothy’s Action Photoart.

Lammermoor Beach – Snack Break
A much-welcomed snack break at the halfway mark at Lammermoor Beach served up by our local QCWA Yeppoon Seasiders Group.

Kemp Beach – the finish
The end of the Walk for Wellbeing where a barbecue was cooked by Fathers of Sons, ready for our walkers, before Keppel Coaches transferred walkers back to the Farnborough Beach starting point.
Since it’s inception in 2022, The Wellbeing Hub Capricorn Coast’s Walk for Wellbeing in support of Queensland Mental Health Week has continued to grow.
Each year during Queensland Mental Health Week, The Wellbeing Hub Capricorn Coast hosts a community walk from Farnborough to Kemp Beach where community and connection are at the forefront. The Walk for Wellbeing embodies connecting with self, connecting with others, connecting with community and connecting with nature.
Along the way walkers enjoy a water stop at Ross Creek, snack break at Lammermoor Beach and a sausage sizzle and cold drink upon completion of the walk at Kemp Beach Picnic Area. A bus transfer is available to shuttle walkers back to their vehicles at the starting point.
