Small Acts, Big Impact: How Feel Good Promotions Is Making Kindness Contagious

As many people experience the financial pressures of life, there’s a new kind of currency hitting the streets. It doesn’t cost much nor is it a difficult task to carry out, but kindness is becoming the new ‘cool’ and Feel Good Promotions are on a mission to turn everyday moments into kindness, connection and generosity with their KINDNESS ® platform.

Inspired from a simple act of kindness by “paying it forward” with a sandwich at a local sandwich bar has inspired founder of Feel Good Promotions Mark Ricks to build a structured KINDNESS ® platform. The platform Is making it easier for kindness to happen on a larger scale in communities across the country. A simple QR code is behind the unified model giving families, businesses and even entire communities the opportunity to spread a little bit of kindness.

When asked what kindness means to him and his team and why is it so important to promote it nationally right now, Mark says “For us, KINDNESS ® is about everyday moments of connection and generosity. It is something that can be woven into daily life. Right now, with the world feeling more divided and fast-paced than ever, KINDESS ® serves as a universal language that brings people together. By promoting it nationally, we are hoping to create a ripple effect that inspires stronger, more caring communities.”

Through the use of dynamic QR codes on co-branded KINDNESS® cards and a tappable PAY IT FORWARD WITH KINDNESS ® button, the National KINDNESS® Campaign has been designed to make KINDNESS® easy and accessible. The buttons allow participatnts to link to many diverse activities such as a café offering a pay-it-forward meal, a school running a KINDNESS® project, or a charity connecting supporters directly to their cause. A scalable and flexible system creating a wave of KINDNESS® that can be shared across every community.

Mark says that the response to the campaign so far has been incredibly positive. Having seen individuals light up with they realise how easy it is to join and spread a little KINDNESS®. The long-term goal is to embed KINDNESS® into everyday culture. The goal is to think about KINDNESS® as a natural part of their everyday lives, rather than something that happens occasionally. It is anticipated that over time, the campaign becomes self-sustaining where one good deed naturally inspires another.

It’s simple and easy for businesses to get involved with the KINDNESS® campaign. Businesses can partner to create a co-branded KINDNESS® card or add the PAY IT FORWARD WITH KINDNESS® button to their point-of-sale systems.


The KINDNESS® campaign also pays it forward by offering complimentary sponsorships and family activation cards to help get people started. Businesses can display a Proud Supporter or PAY IT FORWARD WITH KINDNESS® sticker in the window of their business and a simple scan takes visitors to their landing page. Families and schools are also able to participate.

Growth and expansion are on the horizon for Feel Good Promotions with a goal of building a brand that is inclusive of every demographic, where people feel like they are genuinely part of something bigger. The platform is expanding nationally, and preparations are underway for international collaboration.

Mark is inspired by how naturally people have embraced the KINDNESS HAMPER® initiative and other community partnerships. Having seen families and businesses come together to fill hampers for those in need, it is not just a one-off gesture. It’s becoming a lifestyle movement where KINDNESS® is embedded into everyday life. When he sees people proudly displaying their cards and stickers, and hearing the stories it reminds him that the campaign belongs to everyone who takes part and keeps it growing, once act of PAY IT FORWARD WITH KINDNESS® at  a time.
